It starts my referring to god as a bright white light ...... Then changes to masculine * God is a he * . Every other sentence refers to GOD . God this way , that way - god anyway . Most infuriating . Some of the lessons in this book are lovely and would enchant any child . Sadly - god is not my cup of tea - he is not some bloke on a cloud being kind to everyone . I thought about going through the whole book removing the word God and replacing it with something else . Gollum perhaps .

What a lovely book. It's full of stories and suitable images to introduce younger children to spirituality. It covers a number of different approaches. Education is very important and developing a child's mind is key, but it's also important to engender morality and concern for the world around us. Lots of good ideas for that in this book.

Bought this on a recommendation for my eight year old grand daughter who 'can see spirits.' She has been reading it and says it describes what happens to her, so I hope it helps her deal with this 'gift'
